HUNGR

Queer Horror · Psychological Thriller

Status: First draft complete · Currently undergoing revision

Desire can be dangerous. Hunger can be deadly.

In a world where connection is only a swipe away, loneliness and desire can make for a dangerous combination.

Mark has become increasingly comfortable with isolation, preferring the anonymity of online encounters to the complications of genuine human connection. But when he returns to HUNGR, a gay hookup app with a disturbing history, his search for intimacy begins to take an unsettling turn.

Years earlier, the app became infamous following a series of murders targeting young gay men. The case captured public attention, leaving behind unanswered questions and a legacy that has never quite disappeared. As Mark becomes increasingly entangled in the world surrounding the app, the boundaries between attraction, vulnerability, and danger begin to blur.

HUNGR is a queer horror novel exploring loneliness, desire, obsession, and the darker side of modern intimacy. Blending psychological suspense with true-crime elements, it examines what happens when the search for connection becomes something far more sinister.
