What You Know

What You Know is my debut novel, an 81,000-word psychological thriller with queer themes, emotional intensity, and a sharp undercurrent of obsession. While I've written many stories in the past, this marks my first completed manuscript ready for publication. After multiple revisions and a successful round of beta reading, What You Know is now fully polished and ready for querying. It's a story about identity, reinvention, and how far we'll go to protect the lives we build-even if it means tearing everything else apart.

Blurb for What You Know

Daniel Barlowe has spent years burying a painful past, reinventing himself in a new city, with a new job, and a carefully curated life that looks nothing like the one he left behind. When he meets Peter, a charming and seemingly perfect stranger, Daniel dares to believe he finally deserves happiness. But perfection comes at a cost. As cracks begin to show in the life he's built, Daniel becomes increasingly desperate to hold it all together. How far will he go to protect the image he's worked so hard to create— and the man he's convinced will save him? In a world where truth is slippery and identity is survival, Daniel may discover that the most dangerous secrets are the ones we tell ourselves.

What You Know is a dark, intimate psychological thriller about obsession, reinvention, and the lies we live to feel loved.
